The Willpower 2 Run sessions are a combination of exercise and a social event. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced runner, you are welcome to come along and join in.

Running is a great activity for improving your health and fitness and is an extension to the sports rehabilitation and conditioning services offered within Willpower SRC.

​​

All the routes are based in Andover and a selection of routes have been defined, allowing for varying the route to suit weather conditions and time of year.

​

The routes available are:

  • Route A: Charlton & Anton Lakes (suitable for daylight running, not fully lit)

  • Route B: Gallaghers Mead (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

  • Route C: Around Town (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

  • Route D: Around Town (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

  • Town Mills Route 1: Around Town (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

  • Town Mills Route 2: Around Town (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

  • Town Mills Route 3: Around Town (suitable for autumn/winter running, fully lit)

Membership:​

Joining the running group is free and intended for adults only because of the road crossings that are on the route.

You will need to join our Whatsapp group using the button above.

​

Before each run, members will need to confirm, using Whatsapp, whether they intend to take part or not in that particular event. This gives us information about the group size that would be arriving for the run.

​

The Whatsapp group will also give members up-to-date information about future runs (dates, time, etc) along with any dates that a run might not proceed for some reason. 

​

​​We use Strava, a popular free app that is designed to show you the running route and, if you wish, track your progress.
