Willpower 2 RUN - All you need to know
Our sessions combine structured exercise with a friendly, welcoming, and social atmosphere. They are designed for runners of different abilities who want to enjoy running as part of a supportive community. While we ask that participants have a baseline level of fitness and can run approximately 5 km in around 35 minutes, we provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe environment to help you reach your personal goals.

Running with Willpower 2 Run is an excellent way to improve overall health, fitness, and wellbeing. The sessions complement the sports rehabilitation and conditioning services offered at Willpower SRC and help you build strength, confidence, and endurance while having fun and feeling supported at every step.

We pride ourselves on fostering a warm and social community. Our group is not just about running. Members regularly take part in social events throughout the year, providing opportunities to connect, relax, and enjoy shared experiences outside of the running routes.

If you feel nervous about pace or distance, do not worry. We offer shorter routes starting from around three kilometres, allowing you to gradually build fitness, confidence, and enjoyment of running. Our group is encouraging, friendly, and supportive, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and able to progress at their own pace.

"I have taken part in the Willpower 2 Run, run club for the past 5 weeks. It has reignited my passion for running by creating a positive and motivating environment for "athletes" of all abilities.
Everyone is super friendly and approachable. Feedback is received and actioned in a timely manner. All round it is a great time for everyone involved.
Cannot recommend enough, whether you are training for an upcoming event. Or just looking for an easy jog with new friends."

“I’ve been attending the Willpower 2 Run group since the beginning of September and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made! I was new to running & this group has given me so much encouragement and motivation to keep going. I’m also very introverted and struggle meeting new people but I’ve met so many lovely & kind people through this group, which I never would’ve done if I hadn’t attended a few months ago.
Will is also very supportive & encouraging of everyone & will never leave anyone behind!
I would highly recommend this group for all levels of experienced runners!”
