Safety and Crossing Points:

The route crosses a number of quiet residential streets, side roads, and cul-de-sacs. However, it also includes some crossings over busier roads, so please stay alert.

It is every runner’s responsibility to ensure safe crossings.

Runner Considerations:

  • Be aware that this is a shared-use route and is popular with walkers, especially dog walkers

  • Some areas may be uneven or narrow – please remain alert at all times

  • Obey road safety rules and remain cautious at all crossings

  • Run in single file when on roads or narrow paths without pavements

Route Completion:

The run ends where it began – at Town Mills Car Park – after a scenic loop around Andover including riverside paths, local trails, and familiar roads.

We look forward to seeing you out there for a great evening run!

Before each run, members are asked to confirm their attendance via WhatsApp. This helps us plan safely and understand how many runners to expect at each session.

The WhatsApp group is also used to share up-to-date information about upcoming runs, including dates, start times, and any changes or cancellations.

Apps We Use

We use Strava, a popular and free app that allows you to view running routes, record your activities, and track your progress over time. Participation is optional, but it’s a great way to stay motivated and see how far you’ve come.
