Willpower 2 Run x Seasons Run Club
with The Travelling Cupcake Andover
We're excited to be teaming up with Seasons Run Club for a special community run, bringing together runners from across the local area for a morning of movement, connection, and great company.
Join us on Saturday 6th June at 10:00am, meeting in Andover High Street, SP10 1NN, for a social run. This collaboration is all about celebrating the running community and creating an opportunity for runners to connect, support one another and enjoy running together. Whether you're a regular runner with Willpower 2 Run or Seasons Run Club, or you're joining your very first group run, you'll be made to feel welcome. The route will provide the perfect chance to meet new people, explore the local area and enjoy the supportive atmosphere that both clubs are proud to offer.
Following the run, runners can relax, socialise and enjoy delicious pastries kindly provided by The Travelling Cupcake. Running is about more than just the miles. It's about community, friendship and shared experiences. By bringing our two clubs together, we're looking forward to creating a fun and welcoming event that showcases the positive impact running can have on both physical and mental wellbeing.
We encourage everyone to arrive a few minutes early to meet fellow runners before we set off. Whether you're training for an event, getting back into running, or simply looking for a friendly group to run with, we'd love to see you there.
Come along, bring a friend, and join us for a morning of running, pastries and community.

Safety and Crossing Points:
This 5.5 km summer evening route starts and finishes at a central meeting point and follows a mix of paved roads, quieter residential streets, multi‑use paths and scenic trail sections, making it perfect for summer running when daylight stretches well into the evening. With 32 m of elevation gain the route is easy to moderate in effort while offering a varied mix of surfaces and scenery that keeps the run interesting.
There are a few places where runners will need to cross busier roads or junctions, so remain alert and take your time at these points. Slow down as you approach all road crossings, check carefully in both directions before stepping onto the road, make eye contact with drivers where possible and only cross when it is clearly safe to do so. Safety should always come before pace, group positioning or keeping with others.
Runner Considerations:
Some sections involve running on or close to the road so runners should stay in single file and consider wearing brightly colored clothing to remain visible. Trail and shared path sections provide pleasant summer running under foot but may include roots, grass or minor uneven surfaces so pay attention to your footing. Take extra care around corners and bends especially where visibility may be reduced by trees or landscape, and be aware of walkers, dog walkers and other users on the paths. Summer conditions generally bring drier and more stable surfaces, making both the paved and trail parts of this route enjoyable to run.
For runners who prefer a shorter option, a 4.7 km loop is also available along the same paths, allowing for a quicker or gentler run.
Route Completion:
This point-to-point summer route finishes at Travelling Cupcake Andover after a flowing mix of quieter roads, residential stretches, and open running sections that create a smooth and enjoyable effort from start to finish. Ideal for evening training runs, social club sessions, or steady aerobic mileage, the route offers a balance of consistent pacing and varied scenery to keep runners engaged throughout.
To celebrate this special collaboration between Willpower 2 Run and Seasons Run Club, Travelling Cupcake Andover has kindly offered up to 50 free pastries for participants to enjoy as a post-run treat. The finish provides the perfect opportunity to refuel, relax and connect with fellow runners, making this event as much about community as it is about the miles covered.
Whether you're chasing a training goal, meeting new running partners, or simply enjoying a summer evening run, this route concludes with a welcoming atmosphere, great company, and a well-earned reward at the finish.
